First time at the cafe. I truly had such a wonderful experience and I don’t think it would have been nearly as amazing if we didn’t have Nick as our server. We had a large party of, I believe 12-14 (with kids). He gave us all multiple refills of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as requested. He handed out the food without auctioning, and made sure my aunts birthday was beyond spectacular. I mean Nick really hustled and still provided exceptional service. Everything about the restaurants was great, but Nick is the reason we would return. Pleas request him next time you dine. He’s truly one of a kind.

We've been here a few times now and absolutely positively love this place! The food is always perfect. The service is absolutely top notch. This is the PERFECT family restaurant. When your waiter is taking your order while telling you his favorite foods and how much he loves THEM, THAT SAYS A LOT!!!! A lot of waiters and waitresses are very nice when they're taking your order, but you can tell the ones that truly enjoy working where they're at. That says a lot about a restaurant. And every time we've been there to eat the food was absolutely exceptional and we see whole families there all the time. Of course you want to bring your family to a place that has exceptional food and service and this is the place!!!!

This is a hidden gem in the region. A must go to restaurant. Excellent food and generous portions. Friendly service and clean. Ask for Dana who is an exemplary waitress at Al’s. Great selections and house specials. Family friendly and excellent seating with visual items that you want to see. ENJOY!

Very good food. My server was extremely friendly and the food was 10/10. We had a bourbon burger, an Als burger, and crab stuffed mushrooms and all of it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was very cool sports bar like vibe but at the same time it was a classy nice restaurant. It's hard to describe but definitely worth a visit. Updated visit: the host that we spoke to on the phone was EXTREMELY rude when asked what time closing was. She told us 9pm and immediately hung up the phone. Other than that strange experience everything else was still just as great as last time. We had a Philly cheese steak and a pulled pork sandwich both of them were delicious. Very clean but small men's bathroom. It smelled fresh like cleaner.

The atmosphere is Queint and relaxing. The hostess was very friendly and Liza our waitress had a warm demeanor and was personable very attentive. Delicious doesn't even begin to describe the food. We had the bruschetta, French onion soup, side salad, French dip and stuffed hot pepper pasta. All portions we exactly right (not to big not to small). Each dish tastes home cook and they space our the dishes so you don't feel rushed. I couldn't tell you the last time I enjoyed eating at a restaurant. We will definitely be back again.

It’s always crowded I just moved back to BP This is my 1st time at Al’s cafe That’s a knife and fork burger 3rd time that has happened And the bun was not toasted that needs fixed for all the burgers And if i can make a suggestion Add venison to the menu It’s a log cabin style restaurant when you walk in Pennsylvania has a deer problem so during hunting season add venison to the menu The menu is off the charts there’s a lot to choose from We have a lot of hunters in south western Pa so a game menu would be good A rabbit rattlesnake appetizer would be great Keep the REESE'S desert on the menu The club sandwich is great Get the flatbread
